Hey, we put our new shoes on...

Seems like just a few steps ago that we bought the babies' their first big kid shoes.

This week we moved up a size and moved on to a different look.

One thing hasn't changed: the babies LOVE their new shoes. Right now, they are running around the house in diapers and their sneakers.

Hey, everything's right...everybody's smiling... and later, we'll be slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine...

Linking up with Ginger and Becca for this week's Songs That Make Us Sing!

You need to get the babies the book 'Pete the Cat' if they don't have it already. It is super cute (and has a little shoe song to go with it). :)

I remember when each of our kids graduated from the cute first baby shoes to the more toddler looking shoes. For me it was always bittersweet!!! Now my daughter, who will be 10 this Wed. wears the same size as I do!!! They grow so fast!!!! Love their new shoes!! Have fun enjoying them!!!!

I can't remember if we talked about this before, but our girls didn't have their first pair of shoes until they were 15 months old! Now I regret I didn't buy some of those teeny-tiny baby shoes, just for fun, but it seemed like such a waste at the time. And then, even when they started walking, it was winter, so we carried them everywhere outside. :)

Now I love seeing their little tootsies in new kicks. But it's a little sad, too...most of the styles look so grown-up! No way my babes can be THAT old yet! HA!

I LOVE the new shoes!! Super adorable!! And LOL @ running around in new shoes and a diaper...=)
I need to get on getting my girlies a new set of kicks....they were different sizes for the longest time (and their shoes never matched because I bought matching the same size, not different sizes! Doh!) but now I know what their sizes are and can buy two different sizes of the same/similar item. Yay coordinating! I can't wait!

Look at those cute little shoes! I love it.

BTW, I also love your post below about smoking. Sigh. I still partake here and there. I quit when pregnant, and sometimes, I still like to sneak them in. It's rough.

I should have taken pictures of my daughter in her shoes before she "broke" them in. She is rather hard on her shoes. I have noticed that she does not like tennis shoes much. She prefers mary jane or ballet slipper type shoes. And sparkly is the best (in her humble opinion). :)

No better way to try out new shoes than to run around the house in undies and sneakers!

Be careful...once you go sparkly shoes you can never go back! :) But my daughter also loves my shoes--but they end up being the boat for Dora or the car for Diego. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not? LOL
